Post establishing herself as a successful actress in the world of television, Mouni tried her hands in Bollywood movies too. She made her debut with the movie Gold last year in which she was paired up opposite Akshay Kumar.

Mouni will be seen in the upcoming movie Brahmastra which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna Akkineni in the lead roles. According to reports, Mouni will be seen playing a negative role in the movie. The actress will also be seen in the movie Made in China which co - stars Rajkummar Rao and Boman Irani in the lead roles. Mouni will be seen in the biopic movie Mogul which is based on the life of Gulshan Kumar.
