On the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen in the popular TV show Naagin in which she portrayed the role of Shivanya/ Shivangi. She was roped in as the female lead of the first two seasons of the show before being replaced by Surbhi Jyoti in the second season. After completing the show, Mouni started focusing on her Bollywood career. She made her debut with the movie Gold last year. The actress is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie Made in China which is going to be released on October 25, 2019.
