Mouni Roy bags a role in Karan Johar's Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor?

Mouni Roy seems to be on a roll these days. Apart from making everyone go weak on their knees with her stunning avatars, the TV actor is on her way to make it big on the silver screen. 

It is well known that Mouni will be seen in a pivotal role in Akshay Kumar's Gold. The movie is set to release next year. 

Even before she could make her big Bollywood debut, we hear that the actor has bagged another big movie and this time under Karan Johar's production house.

Karan recently announced his huge project starring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, titled, Brahmastra. However, no further details about her role have been revealed. 

A source told a leading tabloid, "Mouni recently came on board and will start shooting early next year when the film goes on the floors. For now, Ayan is keeping other details of her role under wraps."

About Gold, rumour mills were recently abuzz with reports of Mouni being unhappy with her role in Gold. Sources have been quoted saying that Mouni is apparently playing Akshay's love interest in the movie and has a very small role. The film reportedly revolves around the male protagonists Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal.

However, Mouni refuted the news and maintained that she is very happy and grateful to be part of the project.
