Mohit Malik tests negative for Coronavirus; Says ‘As of now, Aditi and her well being is the priority’

Mohit Malik, who had tested positive for the Covid-19 a few days back, has finally tested negative. Recently, while speaking with Bombay Times, the actor shared the news and also shared that his wife Aditi, who is expecting their first child was safe. He also spoke about social distancing, new beginnings and more. Talking about self-quarantine and social distancing, Mohit said it was easier for him and Aditi to maintain distance as they recently moved to their new home in Goregaon.
He further explained that he stayed in his bedroom on one side for the last two weeks, his wife stayed in the guest room on the other side. "The last two weeks had been traumatic because the virus forces you to distance yourself from everyone and you long the human touch," he added. It was difficult for him to stay away from his loved ones but he watched a lot of television, read many books to cope up with the illness. Mohit said that he has realised that we all depend a lot on external factors to give us happiness.
“The pandemic has made us realise how meeting friends, going on a holiday or the human touch is a luxury and important in our lives,” Mohit stated.
He later explained how he came in contact with the deadly virus. Mohit explained that they decided to go for a trip on his birthday and that’s how he got infected with the Coronavirus. “It was fun and all this time, I was thinking how Aditi was next to me the whole time and we even shared food with each other; but it is only God’s blessings that Aditi did not get infected,” he said. As of now, for Mohit, Aditi and her well-being is the priority.
On the work front, Mohit was last seen in Lockdown Ki Love Story and he is focusing on newer beginnings this year. He said that the next few months he wants to be around Aditi and just spend quality time with family.
