The Me Too movement in India began post Tanushree Dutta accused senior actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of Horn Ok Please in 2008. Post that, it seems every other woman who has been abused at her work place stood up and said times up to all the harassers. A number of prominent personalities from Bollywood were accused of the same. However, Me Too movement was not just limited to Bollywood.
Even in the field of Television, actors came forward to share Me Too Story. More recently, lead actress of Kundali Bhagya, Shraddha Arya shared her Me too story and revealed that she has had a stark experience which was still fresh in her mind. Post this, the popular TV actress extended her support to all women who came forward to share their story. She supported the Me Too movement and in its support, today, shared an emotional poem with her fans. She took to Instagram to share a heart-wrenching request in the form of a poem urging people to believe women who come forward.
