Late actress Pratyusha Banerjee's ex-boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been booked of cheating. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the TV actor hosted a New Year's party at a hotel in Juhu. Rahul has been booking for allegedly cheating people with lakhs of money and had also promised the guests a New Year party with singer Ankit Tiwari. However, when the singer didn't turn up the guests vandalised the hotel and the staff also stopped serving food and drinks.
The report further states that Santacruz Police station received a complaint by the hotel staff regarding the losses they suffered worth over Rs 6 lakh after guests allegedly ransacked the property on not being fulfilled the demands that they were promised. Soon, an FIR was filed against Rahul Raj Singh for cheating. Refuting the hotel’s allegations, Singh told Times Of India: “I am going to file a case against the hotel for duping me. I had paid Rs 18 lakh for food and alcohol for at least 900 guests. However, the hotel stopped serving food after midnight...and the guests got enraged.”
Another report in TOI states that Rahul walked away from the event without settling the bill that amounted to Rs 7 lakh. The actor had collected Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 per person as entry fee.
Rahul was recently in the news when he got married to girlfriend Saloni Sharma. The duo had court marriage on November 15.
To people who don't know, Rahul Raj Singh's ex Pratyusha Banerjee had committed suicide two years ago over her personal problems with the actor. It was being said that Pratyusha took this shocking step over Rahul's closeness with other women.
