One of the most popular series on TV, Kundali Bhagya completed 2 years yesterday and the team celebrated this milestone by sharing videos and photos from the show on social media
Ekta Kapoor’s Kundali Bhagya is one of the most loved romantic drama series on Indian television. It is the spin-off of Ekta’s other show, Kumkum Bhagya, which stars Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. Kumkum Bhagya started off as a story about Pragya, played by Sriti, and Bulbul, played by Mrunal. The characters were shown to be strong and feisty girls, living together in an all-female, matriarchal family. However, as time went by the show started focusing more on the love story between Pragya and Abhi, played by Shabir.
The first episode of Kundali Bhagya, which stars Shraddha Arya, Anjum Fakih, Supriya Shukla, Dheeraj Dhoopar and Manit Jaura was aired on 12th July in 2017. The show follows the journey of sisters Preeta, played by Shraddha, and Srishti, played by Anjum, who attempt to find their mother Sarla, played by Supriya. The sisters cross paths with the rich and famous Luthra Brothers Karan Luthra, played by Dheeraj, and Rishabh Luthra, played by Manit. The series goes on to focus on a love triangle between Karan, Preeta and Rishabh.
Yesterday, the famous series completed 2 years of running and celebrating the same, team members took to their social media handles to share heartfelt messages along with videos and photos from the show. Along with a short clip, Ekta Kapoor shared a loving message, which reads: “Kundalini bhagya ! Thanku @zeetv anil@Nagpal @muktadhond @chloejferns and all the actors n directors! Above all thankuuuu audience.”
