And KumKum Bhagya is in news again. Well not for Pragya to get abducted or Abhi's memory loss for the zillionth time but because of exactly this repetitive storyline that has forced viewers to file a complaint against the show.
Yes, supposed fans of the show have lodged a complaint with the National Consumer Complaint Forum against the show. The viewers are simply done with the same story over years and apparently are cringing over the same. They want the show to end, according to a report. Seems Producer Ekta Kapoor saw this coming and before things turn sour, she has already launched a spin off to the show, titled Kundali Bhagya.
Meanwhile, news of Pragya to die on the show was doing rounds a few days ago. Apparently, the show would show Pragya meet with an accident while saving herself from goons sent by the two baddies Tanu and Alia. This will lead to sabotaging Abhi's emotions and dreams. Meanwhile, Kundali Bhagya revolves around Pragya's family, her father etc. Meanwhile, Kumkum Bhagya has been topping charts. Abhi and Pragya's pair is highly loved by fans not only nationally but internationally as well. The show has been on air for over three years now. Having captured the story of a Mumbai-based, middle-class Punjabi girl Pragya (played by Sriti Jha) who gets married into a wealthy family to a famous rockstar Abhi (played by Shabbir Ahluwalia), the show has kept its viewers on tenterhooks to see their favourite lovebirds reunite after destiny did them apart.
