Kumkum Bhagya actor Shikha Singh has filed a complaint against an event organiser.

As reported by a leading news agency, the event organiser named Deepak Chaturvedi has not paid her the due of Rs 11.30 lakh for a show he had organised in Ghana, Africa, informed an official. The show was held in November 2017.

The official further said that Deepak approached Shikha for the show with a remuneration of Rs 12 lakh. He paid her Rs 70,000 in advance, however, he has not yet paid Singh the rest of the fee.

A case is registered against Deepak under section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code. The police are investigating the matter.

Last month, Shikha Singh slammed an official from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for posting a sleazy comment on her Instagram page.

She posted the profiles of the man's social media pages and the screenshot of the comment stating, "Just bcos a person doesn’t put hands at you, that doesn’t mean they aren’t abusive. Abuse is Control, Blatant disrespect, and also hurtful words. You can’t get away easy Mr. Jagdish Gunge !! During an interaction with a leading daily, Shikha revealed that she has filed a complaint against him. She stated, "I am not going to take this lying down and will see to it that strict action is initiated against this man. The police has been supportive throughout and they even helped me to trace him to Thane, where he resides."
