Bollywood's Hero No 1 celebrates his birthday today. On his special day, the actor visited the Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessing from Bappa. Krushna Abhishek, who is a close nephew of Govinda wished the actor with a throwback picture on Instagram. The picture is about 15 years old where Govinda looks very much young (obviously). Krushna wrote, "Happy birthday chi chi mama. Sum one sent me this pic today 15 years old ah haaaa love u chi mama wish u more successful films n best of health."
Given that the family made news recently for an apparent rift between them, the post came as a welcome change, for sure. For those uninitiated, Govinda's wife Sunita had claimed that Krushna is basking under the glory of being his bhanja. Responding to it in an interview, Krushna had said, "If they feel that I have cashed in on his name to make a career, then mama has several nieces and nephews. Where are they? It’s appalling to see them even make such claims." He even shared that Sunita and Govinda did not turn up to see their babies.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Krushna is all set to make a comeback with the show The Kapil Sharma Show wherein he will be seen alongside Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakraborty and more. The show airs from December 29, 2018 on Sony TV.
