Kapil Sharma finally made his much awaited dhamakedaar comeback on the Indian television with the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show. Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh are a part of the show. According to reports, Kapil Sharma has slashed his fees for the show. Not just him, his colleagues, Krushna and Bharti, are taking less fees for the show. While Kapil used to charge approx Rs 60-70 lakh per episode earlier, for the latest season of his show, he's reportedly charging Rs 17-20 lakh per episode.
Now, Krushna has called all these reports false. He told BollywoodLife, “These pay cut rumours are false. We are getting our stipulated amount. We are extremely happy working together. Anyways, money is secondary. No one can beat the fact that The Kapil Sharma Show is the biggest comedy show in the country.” The report also added that Krushna further said that the question of cost-cutting doesn't arise as Salman Khan is a very generous producer.
A source told the website, “Only time will tell if the second season is a success. We are getting enough and more sponsorship for the show till now. The response on social media was also good. The producers are not cutting costs at any levels. The success or failure will be evident after we get the first TRPs."
On yesterday's show, Salman Khan, Salim Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan gave us a laughter ride.
