KBC 9: PV Sindhu graces the hot seat on Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati
Amitabh Bachchan was happy to have world champion PV Sindhu on sets.
India's pride and world badminton champion PV Sindhu recently visited the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The host Amitabh Bachchan himself was in complete awe of the athlete. PV Sindhu has achieved a lot at a young age of 22 and she cracked up the audience when she told them about how sign language comes to her rescue when she has to communicate with fellow players from different nations.
PV Sindhu was accompanied by her sister Divya who is a gynecologist while their mother, P Vijaya, sat among the audience, also shared that she would've been a doctor if badminton hadn't happened.
A source close to the development told a leading tabloid "Sindhu also told the audience that she took up the sport because of her father, PV Ramana, a former volleyball player and Arjuna awardee, who wanted her to make a name for herself and not as part of a team."
"Before leaving, Sindhu also gifted Big B a racquet and he asked her to autograph it for him, promising to frame it for his living room,"
Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to share, "The icing on the cake would have to be this extraordinary meeting with the World Champion and pride of India."
