Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Here’s how Aamna Sharif prepared herself to play Komolika

Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay has managed to keep the audience intrigued with its interesting twists and turns. Recently, the show bagged the eyeballs after Karan Singh Grover who played the role of Mr. Bajaj, announced his exit from the show. Karan revealed that Bajaj’s role has come to an end as of now. And as he bid adieu to KZK, the fans get ready to welcome another character on the show. We are talking about Komolika who is coming back to spice up the show. So far, Hina Khan was seen playing Komolika in KZK and was loved as the vamp of the show. However, the fans were left heartbroken after she decided to leave the show and Komolika’s role came to an end.

Now as per the recent buzz, Komolika is coming back in action and much to the viewers’ delight Aamna Sharif will be stepping into Hina’s shoes for the role. To note, Aamna will be making her comeback on the small screen after a hiatus of six years. In fact, the makers recently unveiled Aamna’s first look as Komolika from KZK and it has left everyone asking for more. Indeed, the fans are excited to watch Aamna in a never seen before avatar.

While Aamna is also excited to play the popular role, she also stated that her comparison with Urvashi Dholakia and Hina were inevitable. However, the diva took special measures to prepare herself for playing Komolika and bring a different flavour to the character.

“Urvashi Dholakia and Hina Khan have made the character very popular but I have faith in Ekta and did not want to question her decision as to why she thought I was the perfect fit for this role. Comparisons are inevitable but I will try to make it different. I haven’t watched the show before as I wanted to give Komolika my own flavour,” Aamna told Times Of India.

The actress also stated that the makers were quite particular about her look on the show and made sure that she was at her stylish best. “A lot of detailing has gone into it, especially the jewelry. The audience did not expect to see me like this,” she added.
