Kasautii Zindagii Kay: After Hina Khan’s exit, Aamna Sharif CONFIRMED to play the role of Komolika in the show

Ever since Hina Khan exited Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay, reports around who is going to replace Hina Khan as Komolika have been doing the rounds, and finally, the cat is out of the bag as reports suggest that Aamna Sharif will be replacing Hina Khan as the new Komolika. That’s right! According to a report in Times of India, Kahiin Toh Hoga fame Aamna Sharif has been roped in to play the role of Komolika.
A few days back, when Ekta Kapoor had tweeted about searching for a new ‘Komo’, Hina was quick to send her best wishes as she wrote, “New komo!!!?????? But whooooooooooo;)” Now, talking about Aamna Sharif’s negative role in the show, she opened up about her comeback to the small screen with Kasautii Zindagii Kay as she said that first, the reason for the break from the small screen was the need to reinvent her personal life. “It would have been easy to stay in my comfort zone and come back with a love story, but that wouldn’t have satiated me as an actor. It’s always a different kind of rush to surprise your audience. So, when I was offered the role of Komolika, I instinctively knew that this is what will challenge me the most as an actor,” Aamna said.
Talking about Aamna, she was last seen in the 2013 TV show, 'Ek Thhi Naayika and she was seen in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain' (2014), in which she played Riteish Deshmukh’s wife.
