Ekta Kapoor has made it official that Hina Khan will be seen playing Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, starring Erica Fernandes as Prerna Sharma and Parth Samthaan as Anurag Basu. The television queen shared the first look of Hina and fans just can’t keep calm. Ekta Kapoor made the big revelation by sharing the first look on social media and captioned it as, "Bihar ka bewagpan aur Bengal ki adaa... Welcome Hina Khan as KOMOLIKA."
Hina Khan, who played bahu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, will be seen playing a negative role on the small screen for the very first time. While fans and celebrities are praising Hina’s sassy and stylish look as Komolika, the actress is quite nervous about her role. She shared about the same on social media, soon after Ekta Kapoor revealed the first look. Earlier, Urvashi Dholakia played the role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

While speaking to Times Of India, Hina had said, “Komolika is not a typical vamp, she has a lot of shades to her which unfold as the story progresses which enticed me to play the character. Viewers will see me in an entirely new avatar and I always wanted to try something new to push myself as an actor.”
Meanwhile, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is receiving a positive response from the viewers and has made it to top 10 on the TRP chart.
