Kasautii Zindagii Kay FIRST TEASER: Erica Fernandes nails the first look as Prerna
Erica Fernandes’ first look as Prerna in Kasauti Zindagi Kay remake is OUT.
Ever since Ekta Kapoor announced the remake of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, fans of the show were left wondering who would step into the heavy and responsible shoes of Shweta Tiwari (Prerna), Cezanne Khan (Anurag Basu) and Urvashi Dholakia (Komolika).
Many names popped up but Erica Fernandes, last seen in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, was finalised to play the role of Prerna. Amidst rising speculations and anticipation, Ekta Kapoor finally released the first look of the show revealing Erica as Prerna.
The entire recreation of the title song is bang on and even though Erica’s face is not revealed clearly, it doesn’t need a rocket science to identify her. The shy demeanor and red duppatta painting them in the colour of love is a stark reminder of the original and will only leave you more curious. The promo leaves you wanting for more as it very smartly conceals the face of the male and the female leads.

According to grapevine, actor Parth Saamthaan has been finalised to step into Anurag’s shoes. While Parth remains mum on the same, according to Mumbai Mirror, the actor was finalised on Friday night itself and will soon shoot for the promo video.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay is likely to go on air by August and will also see Hina Khan playing the iconic role of Komolika, according to reports. Hina admitted to have met Ekta but refrained from commenting on the same.
