Karishma Tanna gets replaced by Surbhi Jyoti.
&TV’s latest show, Comedy Dangal is all set to witness a laughter dose and promises to deliver a laughter ride for all its viewers. But even before its launch, the show is also doing rounds for replacement news. Apparently, Karishma Tanna was initially roped in for the show. But a source tells us that the actress was overnight replaced by Surbhi Jyoti.
A source from the shoot revealed, “One day before the promo shoot Karishma Tanna was been replaced by Surbhi Jyoti since Karishma was giving tough time to the production house on her promo look. She kept making changes in her look, production house tried to accommodate her demands but she didn’t finalise it even one night before the shoot.” While the show focuses on the two different genres of comedy; stand up and skit comedy as each team battles it out in the quest to make people laugh, the production house of the show is facing a separate Dangal.
The show has a huge line-up of popular television faces like Kamya Punjabi, Shikha Singh, Debina Bonnerjee, Anita Hassanandani, Rajesh Kumar and others. For the promo shoot, the skit comedian team was supposed to be dressed as the popular Bollywood movie characters like Dangal, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Sultan.
