Karan Singh Grover: It gets a bit draining after a long time on a TV show
While talking to a leading daily, actor Karan Singh Grover talked about his thoughts whether he wants to get back on TV or not.
There was a time when Karan Singh Grover was the heartthrob on Indian TV screens. He made a lot of girls fall in love with him through his character of Dr Armaan in the show Dill Mill Gayye. After DMG, he again made people fall in love with him as Asad in Qubool Hai. However, when he ventured into films in 2015, Karan never returned to TV screens.
The handsome actor made his Bollywood debut in 2015 with the film Hate Story 3. In the same year, he was seen in a horror film titled as Alone in which he starred alongside Bipasha Basu. Since then, the actor has been missing from films too. It's not like he hasn't been working. Karan's film 3 Dev has been delayed since a long time despite being ready for release.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Karan Singh Grover was asked if he plans to return to television. The actor said, "It is not like I stopped thinking about TV. It is just that you want a good finite story which doesn’t kill the creativity of the performers and everyone associated with the film. It gets a bit draining after a long time on a TV show. There is only so much quality that one can give."
Currently, Karan is working on a web show which will be an action-comedy drama.
On the personal front, Karan got married to Bipasha Basu in the year 2016.
