Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti's Qubool Hai WON'T have a sequel
Qubool Hai 2 was never on cards.
Last time Karan Singh Grover left a heart throbbing impression on the small screen, it was in Gul Khan's Qubool Hai. The show with Surbhi Jyoti as the female lead was extremely popular with their chemistry being one of he highlights of the show.
Recently, reports were floating that Gul might come up with a sequel to the show with Karan as the lead yet again. It was said that Hiba Nawab would be replacing Surbhi as the female lead. But looks like these were just rumours.
When contacted Gul, she refuted the reports saying, "Qubool Hai sequel was never on the cards so how can it be shelved?"
Well, the news will disappoint QH fans for sure.
Karan is currently busy enjoying a sabbatical with wife Bipasha Basu. He was last seen in erotic thriller Hate Story 2 where he was seen romancing Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah. Karan rose to fame with his stint on young TV show Dill Mill Gaye where he was paired opposite his ex-wife Jennifer Winget.
Meanwhile, Gul's another show Ishqbaaaz is performing well on the TRP charts. The show with Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna as the lead is much loved and their on-screen chemistry has already won several accolades.
Recently, Gul brought Barun Sobti back on TV with the third installment of her show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon but the show went off air within three months following low TRPs.
