Karan Patel lashes out at the government for its 'disability' to support Padmavati
After the Washington Post story, Karan Patel lashed out at the Indian government.
The entire country is only discussing one topic and that is all the controversy revolving Padmavati. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh has been going to severe threats. The film is about the 14th-century Rajput queen Padmavati.
The Karni Sena members have warned the cast to not release the film or else they will get down to physically hurting them. Deepika Padukone has a life threat to her and so does Sanjay Leela Bhansali. What shocked us, even more, was when a BJP member gave a bounty of 5 crores for beheading India's leading female celebrity Deepika Padukone.
Recently, Washington Post covered this news and congrats to the government the entire world is looking down upon us. This didn't go down well with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein's Karan Patel and he immediately took to his Twitter handle to lash out at the government for its disability to support Padmavati and its stars. He wrote, "Dear Government, you must be proud that not only us but also the world is shocked at your disability, which you consider is your plus point. #Ashamed"

Well, this is extremely saddening and we are happy to see stars like Karan Patel come in the forefront and bring this matter up. The release date of Padmavati has been postponed and there are also reports that state that the Karni Sena is adamant on banning the film, we can only wait for the government to finally wake up start doing their duty.
