Kapil Sharma talks about being relevant, his driving force, wife Ginni Chatrath being his critic, and more

Kapil Sharma's return to television with the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show has been a journey that seems to be going only up and the fans of the comedian can't seem to get enough of him. This season of the show has had some of the most unconventional guests and even the numbers for the show have been very impressive. For the first few weeks, in fact, the show was one of the top shows and as far as TRPs are concerned.

When Kapil was asked about being relevant and popular even after so many years, he went on to say how his driving force is the audience and it is always a pleasure to seem them laugh. He went on to further add how he received immense love even when he returned and was welcomed back with open arms. He also said how without his mother's blessings, none of this would have been possible and that she has been his pillar of strength.

Ask him if he has changed as a comedian post marriage, he said how the only change is that earlier his marriage jokes were from an outsider's point of view, but now, he does know the reality now and they are more authentic. When he was quizzed about wife Ginni's sense of humour, he revealed how she has always had great comic timing and she is his best critic and also that she is his biggest fan and laughs on almost all his jokes.
