The Kapil Sharma Show's Kiku Sharda charged 78,650 for a cup of tea & coffee in Bali; DEETS inside
Kiku Sharda of The Kapil Sharma Show fame has recently shared a tweet which has raised everyone's eyebrows. The actor has been charged a whopping amount for one cup of tea and coffee in a hotel in Bali.
Kiku Sharda is a known name in the world of television. The talented actor is currently seen portraying a pivotal role in the The Kapil Sharma Show which airs on Sony TV. Prior to this, Kiku Sharda has acted in numerous other TV shows which include Hatim, F.I.R, Akbar Birbal and many others. The comedian – actor has also acted in a few Bollywood films including Happy New Year, Race, No Smoking, No Problem and many others.
Recently, Kiku Sharda took some time off from his busy schedule and jetted off to Bali. The actor has now shared a picture of a bill from one of the hotels in Bali on his Twitter handle which has literally raised everyone’s eyebrows. The actor had ordered for a cup of tea and cappuccino which had cost him a whopping amount of 78,650. However, he shared the actual amount too in terms of Indian rupees which happens to be INR 400/-.
However, Kiku’s caption along with the tweet has created quite a lot of stir now. He writes, “My bill for 1 cappuccino and 1 tea is 78,650/- ,,,,,, but I am not complaining as I am in Bali, Indonesia and this amount in their currency converts to ₹ 400/- in Indian currency #mehengaayee.” As Kiku has hilariously mentioned about not complaining about the whole thing, it seems like he is taking a dig at actor Rahul Bose. For the uninitiated, Rahul had expressed his outrage on social media a few days back when he was charged Rs 442.50 for two bananas at one of the luxury hotels.
