Sumona Chakravarti took to her social media handle to share her inspiring journey of how she quit smoking two years ago
The beautiful Sumona Chakravarti began her career when she was just 11 years old, with Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer Mann in the year 1999. She went on to try her luck in films like Barfi!, Kick and Phir Se... However, it was with the television show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain that Sumona rose to prominence. She played the character of Natasha Amarnath Kapoor and won many hearts with her powerful performance.
Sumona also appeared in other TV shows such as Kahani Comedy Circus Ki, Ek Thhi Naayka, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Jamai Raja. Currently, she is seen on The Kapil Sharma Show in which she plays the character of Bhoori, Titli Yadav's Sister. In the first season of the show, Sumona played the role of comedy king Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife and the viewers were left impressed with their amazing chemistry as a bickering couple.

Today, the actress took to her social media handle to share her inspiring story of how she quit smoking two years ago. She wrote: “2 Years Ago! the week following a dear friend’s bday... I QUIT. Simply went cold turkey. No nicotine patch, no vape. Nothing. Haven’t touched since then. Was it difficult, hell yeah. But now my body rejects smoke. Cant stand in a room where ppl are smoking anymore.”
