The Kapil Sharma Show: Kriti Sanon’s parents REVEAL they were embarrassed by Arjun Patiala star’s celeb status
This week, Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon will be seen on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film, Arjun Patiala. While on the show, Kriti’s parents recalled an incident when they were embarrassed by her celebrity status. Read on.
A show that has been entertaining audiences since quite some time is Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most loved shows on TV on the weekends. Not just for the comedy, but also for the celebrity guest appearances which take place every week. This week, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh will be seen on Kapil’s show. While on the show, Kriti and Diljit will share their experience of working on the film and also, some personal funny incidents. One of them relates to Kriti Sanon.
On the show, Kriti’s parents were also present and they spoke to Kapil during the episode. Kriti’s mother, Geeta narrated an incident when they were embarrassed by Kriti Sanon’s celebrity status. She mentioned that they were shopping in a store where there was a sale going on and people started talking in hushed tones that Kriti’s parents are shopping at a sale. Later, Kriti’s mom added that they had to ask her to leave the store so that the people would stop talking.
Kriti’s mom said, “We went on a 50% sale shop. There, the onlookers recognised us and began gossiping, 'Kriti’s parents are buying outfits from a 50% sale store'. At times we feel it's better if sometimes people don’t recognize us at certain places.” Meanwhile, Kriti often shares photos and videos of spending time with her family on her social media handle. These days, she is busy promoting her upcoming film, Arjun Patiala and for the same, she came on Kapil’s show. A new promo also came last night where we saw Kiku performing and his jokes left everyone including Kriti and Diljit in splits.
