There was a continuous buzz about the comedian throwing tantrums on sets and making Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn wait on sets for the shoot which ended up getting cancelled. Kapil Sharma was spoken about and was accused of being arrogant and proud to have been cancelling the show several times. The real reason behind this was Kapil's ill health. Kapil recently spoke to a leading tabloid about his health, The Kapil Sharma Show and his upcoming film Firangi.
On being asked about making Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh and Ajay wait on sets Kapil said that his upcoming film Firangi had wrapped up in March with a song and one promotional video left to be shot.
Kapil said that he has put in his own money to produce the film, the money he earns from hosting the Kapil Sharma Show and a few other events. He expressed his gratitude towards his biggest source of income which is the Kapil Sharma Show and also said that he would never risk his bread and butter by making Shah Rukh Khan wait.
He revealed how helpful and nice Shah Rukh has been to him and how much he respects SRK to ever throw shade at him. He also cleared that whether it's a superstar or not on his show, he will never want to make any guest on his show wait. Kapil said he is genuinely unwell and prefers to take a short break rather than cancelling shoots.
Kapil Sharma disclosed his ignorance towards his health and his nonstop work in the industry since the last 10 years that too without a break which has lead to problems like anxiety, blood pressure, sugar problems and an unbalanced diet. He feels taking a short break to recover is much better than holding onto these problems which will only make it worse.
He also described his relationship with Sony TV and said that he has a wonderful relationship with them and that the bosses of the channel are extremely understanding and on learning of his ill health they readily agreed when Kapil wanted a short break from the show in order to recover.
