Kapil Sharma on Ginni Chatrath: We didn't have the usual dating scenario as both our families are conservative
Kapil Sharma is all set to get married to Ginni Chatrath in December. While talking to a leading daily, the comedian got candid about Ginni and their relationship.
Few days ago, Kapil Sharma confirmed that he will be tying the knot with Ginni Chatrath. The wedding will be held on December 12 in Amritsar. After the wedding, the comedian will throw a party for his friends in Mumbai which will also include several Bollywood celebrities. While talking to Hindustan Times, the comedian revealed that he and Ginni never dated as their families were conservative. He had introduced Ginni to his parents back in their college days but never took their relationship forward due to differences in social status.
"We did not have the usual dating scenario as both our families are conservative. Last year, when I was going through a low phase, she was there with me throughout. That’s when I felt that if she is with me during my low phase, then she is the one for me. I can rely on her," said Kapil. The Comedy Nights With Kapil host said that he is ecstatic to be with Ginny. He said that their marriage will bring a huge change in his life and also bring discipline.
He added, "She takes good care of me and is a huge support in my life. People like me are surrounded by many people at work or events or otherwise, but when you come home, ghar khali lagta hai."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kapil Sharma will be coming back on television after a long gap with The Kapil Sharma Show, starting from December 16.
