Kapil Sharma Finally opens up about depression, alcohol, suicidal tendencies, and Sunil Grover

Kapil Sharma says it all during Firangi promotions.

Kapil Sharma who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons finally came out in public and spilled the beans. Kapil Sharma recently came out in public for the trailer launch of his upcoming film Firangi. Kapil who had been away from the media, apart from promoting the film also spoke about a lot of other things which included his depression phase, his equation with Sunil Grover, his addiction to alcohol and of course The Kapil Sharma Show.

The media threw a lot of questions at Kapil which Kapil very calmly answered and that too in detail. He spoke about his depression and how he had suicidal tendencies.
Recounting one of them Kapil said, “One of my close friends asked me to shift to his seaside apartment. He thought a change of scene would be good for me. As I saw the wide expanse of sea from his balcony, I felt like jumping into it. I was depressed; it felt like the world was gunning for me.”

Coming back to his question with Sunil Grover Kapil said, "Sunil and I never really had a fight, I love him a lot. I would have loved to have him during Firangi's trailer launch too, but he is in Canada for a show."

He also denied hurling a shoe at Sunil Grover and was also upset that none of his team members came ahead and denied t rumours. Kapil said, "I felt bad when The Kapil Sharma Show members didn't deny the shoe throwing rumours, Sunil Grover got angry because I shouted at someone in the flight."

Kapil also spoke about all the allegations directed towards him with the whole making Shah Rukh Khan wait on sets episode. Kapil justified himself and said, "Shah Rukh sir came to meet me after I cancelled the shoot since I was unwell and he asked me to take a break since I was not well."

Well, that's something we weren't aware of, and Kapil very honestly confessed his addiction to alcohol which he finally got rid of. He happened to mention about how after taking a break from the show Kapil would lock himself up in a room and would drink heavily.

Now that Kapil has kick-started afresh let's see if we get to see The Kapil Sharma Show cast together once again.
