Kapil Sharma faints on sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, rushed to hospital
Popular comedian Kapil Sharma was admitted to the hospital.
When it seemed like things were finally looking up for Kapil Sharma, here is a downer. Kapil was rushed to the hospital recently, after he fainted on sets. That's right, Sharma, who has been known to be a workaholic, was taken to a hospital.
Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali were to promote their film 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' on TKSS. However, Kapil started to feel uneasy backstage and had to leave the shoot to see a doctor. Kiku Sharda confirmed the news to a daily, "Yes, Shah Rukh Khan was shooting in the Film City vicinity for some promo shoot last night. By the time he came on the sets, Kapil had already left for a checkup. He was feeling uneasy and the doctors advised him to get admitted. Kapil is still in the hospital and his family is with him. Now our regular shooting is on 11th and 13th July, but I don't know which film's star cast will be visiting our sets."
Kapil has been busy with his very popular TV show and his film Firangi. He was recently in the news for his infamous fall out with Sunil Grover. However, things began to pick up for Kapil and for the show, recently. Also, the recent announcement of the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award that is to be bestowed on Kapil, came as a blessing to the comedy actor. Kapil had confirmed his presence at the award ceremony. However, it is now unclear if he will be able to make it to the ceremony inspite of his ailing health. Firangi is directed by Rajiv Dhingra and stars Kapil Sharma , Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in the lead roles. The release date of the movie has not yet been finalized.
