Kapil Sharma DENIES hurling a shoe at Sunil Grover, says felt bad when TKSS members didn't deny these rumours
Kapil Sharma finally opens up about his mid-air fight with Sunil Grover.
The infamous mid-air fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover is well known and is perhaps one of the most controversial chapters of his life. While Kapil has never come out in open to clarify his stance on the same, rumours of him hurling a shoe at Sunil Grover were rife.
With neither of the two opening up on the incident, whatever got published was the account of eyewitnesses and gossipmongers.
Looks like Kapil is finally ready to talk about the incident. At the trailer launch of his upcoming movie Firangi, Kapil was asked about the incident once again.
Recounting his fight, Kapil maintained that he still loves Sunil and would love to reunite with him for a show but the latter is busy with another show in Canada.
However, what really caught out attention is that Kapil indirectly denied hurling a shoe on Sunil. "I felt bad when The Kapil Sharma Show members didn't deny the shoe throwing rumours," he said, while adding, "Sunil Grover got angry because I shouted at someone in the flight."
He also mentioned that he was in a bad space then but come what may he is a clean hearted soul.
He also spoke about the incident when Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma had to cancel the promotions on his show following his ill health. While rumours were that the JHMS actors left the set angrily, Kapil said, "Shah Rukh sir came to meet me after I cancelled the shoot since I was unwell and he asked me to take a break since I was not well."
He further added, "I took a break from the show and locked myself up and began drinking very heavily."
