Acclaimed comedian Kapil Sharma and wife Ginni Chatrath have been blessed with a baby girl. The couple tied the knot last year on December 12 followed by an Anand-Karaj ceremony. The love story that began back in college, got acknowledged in 2016 and escalated into marriage soon after. Kapil had earlier confirmed the news about Ginni's pregnancy to a publication and the star wife was spotted flaunting her baby bump at multiple occasions. Co-star Krushna Abhishek too teased the actor on The Kapil Sharma Show where he signaled the arrival of Kapil's child.

Kapil Sharma recently took to his Twitter handle in order to share the happy news with his fans. "Blessed to have a baby girl need ur blessings love u all jai mata di", Kapil tweeted as he announced the arrival of his baby girl. Many celebrities and friends from the industry commented on his post congratulating the actor on being blessed with a daughter. Rakul Preet Singh, Guru Randhawa, Bhuvan Bam, Kiku Sharda, and others were a few to name.


"Congrats my paji. I'm officially a Chacha now", Guru Randhawa wrote in his comment with a heart emoji. "Bhaiya! Congratulations", tweeted Bhuvam Bham.

While Kapil continues to entertain the audience with his comic presence in The Kapil Sharma Show, he is also seen placing his foot forward on the silver screen. The actor has featured in films like Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Firangi. He recently lent his voice for the Hindi version of The Angry Birds Movie 2.
