Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath who got married last year on December 12 are apparently expecting their first child. As per News 18's report, Ginni is pregnant and Kapil's mother has shifted to Mumbai to take care of her and is making vital preparations. However, neither Kapil nor Ginni have made any official announcement on the same.

Speaking of the couple, they tied the knot at their hometown Jalandhar. They later hosted three receptions at Amritsar, Mumbai and Delhi. TKSS cast members Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda were part of all his wedding and post wedding functions. Recently, Kapil on his show revealed that his wedding venue saw approximately 5,000 people, but he knew just 40-50 people only.

Kapil Sharma on getting married to Ginni had earlier told IANS, “My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realised that ‘abhi age ho rahi hai’ (I am getting on in age). So, I thought what if she says ‘no’ and after one or two years, no one agrees to get married to me.”

In an interview, he had revealed that they knew each since their college days and said how he used to go to her college to do stand-up comedy shows and rest is history. Recently, the comedian-actor was acknowledged as the most viewed Indian stand-up comedian in India as well as in abroad by the World Book of Records London.
