Jennifer Winget reveals Ekta Kapoor offered her a different role first until she came up with Code M; Read on

Jennifer Winget will be next seen in Code M and she will wear the uniform for the very first time. The actress is sure excited for the role and while talking about it, she told how she knows it is a responsibility to wear the uniform and that it commands respect. She also added how the role is indeed a great add to her career and given that is is a first of its kind for her too, we feel it is indeed going to be just as interesting to play as it is going to be to watch out for.

She revealed something else and while it has raised questions in our mind, it has us just as happy too. She told how earlier, Ekta Kapoor had called her to discuss another role and it was when she told her the kind of role she was looking out for that she called her offering her the part that she is playing. She added how the first meeting is all it took for her to be sold at the concept and of course, the character that she plays. Her first look as Monica Mehra has been grabbing a lot of attention and now, all that's there is to see what does she have in store.
