EXCLUSIVE: Jay Soni baffled after two fan girls chase him, wife intervenes to sort out
Jay Soni was left baffled recently.
Actor Jay Soni recently freaked out after he encountered an awkward experience. The actor who had gone to a night club with his wife, was left all baffled when two girls approached and refused to let him go. A little birdie tells us, "Two girls came and asked him out for a dance. Jay's wife was all cool with it, assuming they were his fans but it got quite uncomfortable further as the girls began following him almost everywhere. He had gone to the rest room and was coming back when they were on the stairs, waiting for him. When Jay told them he is married and his wife was waiting, they still were adamant on what they wanted. They were literally willing to let go of him only after a dance."
Jay looked at his wife quite uncomfortably who just kept smiling and finally she had to get in between and save her real life hero. Jay says, "It was extremely uncomfortable. I had my wife with me and I did not want to sound rude to these girls. At the same time they were sweet enough to follow my show but it got really awkward when I did not know how to turn them down. I am glad my wife interfered in and saved the night," he laughs. Jay is currently seen on COLORS’ latest offering Bhaag Bakool Bhaag. The show showcases Gujarati boy Bakool's (Jay Soni) plight upon being married to two women. Bakool was seen donning the attire of a woman recently.
According to reports, Jay had quite a tough time transforming into a woman in the show. The actor says " I admire women post turning into one in my latest show few days ago it. took me 1.5 to 2 hours to get into the get up i had to be absolutely clean shaves god known how many times I must have run the razor through my face. i did get compliments that I looked cuter than my co actors and that was humbling but it was way too much work. The sari, blouse the mannerism it isn't easy being a woman. Hats off to all the women by and large its a tough job and they pull it off so well."
