With the uncertainty clouding around Surbhi Chandna's exit from Star Plus' popular show Ishqbaaaz post generation leap, the actress, known for playing the role of Annika, took to Instagram to calm her fans down. She shared a happy picture of herself and wrote, "This is exactly what i want ALL of YOU to do RIGHT NOW PLEASE . SMILE is a curve that sets EVERYTHING STRAIGHT  #calmingbreezeyourway." Check out the post here:

Earlier, Surbhi took to Instagram story to ask her fans to calm down again and said that she will speak soon. She also thanked them all for the patience. Surbhi reportedly wasn't comfortable playing the role of a mother on the show at such an early stage of her career, and hence, the baby track which was to be introduced in the show was called off. So, the channel and the makers decided to take a generation leap wherein only Nakuul Mehta will be retained who will be seen playing the role of Shivaay and Annika's son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi.

The fans have been going berserk over the news and have been trending No Surbhi No Ishqbaaaz on social media platforms. However, if rumours are to be believed, hunt for a new face opposite Nakuul has already began. The generation leap will be seen taking place in December and the fans have been opposing it. But, producer Gul Khan mentioned that if there was any other choice, they wouldn't have opted for a leap.
