Ishqbaaaz: A new leaf in Shivaay and Annika's lives comes as a breath of fresh air for fans

Be it Annika aka Surbhi Chandna shattering the stereotype of an idol Television bahu or refusing to take her husband's surname, the show's freshness is unmissable and that is perhaps why it continues to win hearts.
Now, a new promo of the show has been released which has got everyone talking. In the promo, Shivaay aka Nakuul Mehta's character is shown to be broke who struggles to get a VIP entry into the temple. The scene is a stark reminder of the first episode where Shivaay was all about 'naam, khoon, khandaan'.
In this one scene, one can actually see how Shivaay's character has come a long way. From being the unabashedly arrogant and castiest businessman to now a mellowed down version of him who is no longer cuffed with the regressive thoughts.
Further, in the promo, we see his dadi giving him life lessons and asks him to rise about false family pride and embark on a new journey of self-realization. In this, he has Annika by his side. This is not the first time perhaps that we will be seen a track like this on Indian Television but it is the execution which makes it different.
