Ishqbaaaz: Forget Tom Cruise, Nakuul Mehta is the new superhero; check out
Nakuul Mehta performs a daredevil stunt for Ishqbaaaaz. Producer Gul Khan and writer Harneet Singh are all praises for the actor.
Nakuul Mehta is known for going to lengths for his characters. Currently seen as Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaaz, the blue-eyed actor on Saturday shot for a few sequences that included stunts. Usually seen in films, Nakuul had to fall down freely from a high rise building for the sequence and he seemed to be really kicked about it. Sharing a small glimpse from behind-the-scenes. producer Gul Khan and writer Harneet Singh wrote, "The Daredevil Shivaay Singh Oberoi." Gul shared the BTS video and wrote, "Watch @nakuulmehtadoing a cool stunt for Ishqbaaaz! #ishqbaaz #4lionsfilms"
Well, this wasn't it. Nakuul, who seemed elated with the development, shared a video on his Instagram story wherein he revealed that he shot for a great stunt scene today and was seen asking his friend, wife Jankee Parekh and co-star Shrenu Parekh about it in an animated form and in a hilarious move, all of them ignored him. Then he went to his DOP, who rebuked him saying, "The stunt was okay and not at par with Tom Cruise" while director Lalit Mohan said that he needs to take inspiration from Tom Cruise on it. Nakuul then quipped that he tried. Well, this entire banter is NOT to be missed and so is his freefall and stunt.
According to what we can hear, the scene was shot as part of Shivaay trying to save Annika from Daksh's plan who will apparently kidnap her in order to seek revenge from SSO. The show is only getting interesting by the day. Are you excited for the same? Let us know in the comments below.
