Ishqbaaaz is one of the famous TV shows and the show has been in the news of late as the season 2 has started recently with entire new star cast except for Nakuul Mehta. Fans of the show were upset over the same and had even started online and offline campaigns to bring back Surbhi Chandna as the female lead. The producers of the show had conducted many auditions to find the ideal female lead for season 2, and finally, they zeroed in on Manjiri Pupala, a newbie. Currently, Nakuul is playing the lead role of Shivaay and Annika's son Shivaansh who is a rockstar, whereas Manjiri is playing the role of ACP Aditi Deshmukh. For playing Shivaansh, Nakuul is sporting a new look, unlike his father. His character is a staunch believer of love and is a spoilt brat.
While some fans were more receiving of Manjiri and the season, there were some who continued to be annoyed at the decision of the makers. Fans even went on to trend #shivikaforever on Twitter as Surbhi and Nakuul's chemistry still have a strong place in the fans' hearts. And now, Telly Chakkar's report suggests that the producer of the show is planning to replace the female lead and auditions for a new lead have already started. The reason for the replacement is still unknown, but the search is on for a new female lead.
