Indian Idol 12: Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani’s show to go off air by end of March? Here’s what we know
Indian Idol, which is in its twelfth season at the moment, is struggling to rake in decent TRP numbers following which there are reports that the show might go off air this month.
Indian Idol has been one of the most talked about singing based reality shows on Indian television which has been entertaining the audience for over 15 years now. The show has given several renowned singing sensations to the industry including Rahul Vaidya, Abhijeet Sawant, etc. over the years. And while Indian Idol is witnessing is the twelfth season at the moment, it is reported that Indian Idol 12, which has Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya as its judge, will be going off air by the end of this month.
According to media reports, the makers have taken the decision owing to the dipping TRP of the singing based reality show. It is reported, that Indian Idol 12 has been struggling to rake in decent TRPs as a result of which the makers are, reportedly, planning to cut short the show’s journey and end it on March 27. To note, there are around 10 contestants in the show at the moment and with the reports of Indian Idol 12 going off air by this month, looks like the show will have a quick elimination process this season.
This isn’t all. The media reports also suggested that Indian Idol 12 is likely to be replaced by Super Dancer Chapter 4. Reportedly, the dance based reality show is likely to premiere from the month end on Sony TV. Meanwhile, there are reports that the makers might change the timeslot for Indian Idol 12. However, no official confirmation has been given either about the change in time slot of Indian Idol 12 or the show going off air.
