Indian Idol 11 judge Neha Kakkar LASHES OUT at Kiku Sharda & Gaurav Gera for mocking her height and talent
Kiku Sharda and Gaurav Gera recently took a dig at Indian Idol 11 judge Neha Kakkar and this did not go down well with the singer. Here's how she reacted.
Neha Kakar is one such person that often takes jokes sportingly, and her banter with Aditya Narayan on Indian Idol 11 is a proof of that. Yes, Aditya is time and again seen making fun of Neha on the show, but the actress has never reacted to it, and is rather seen laughing. But, as they say, "Everything has a limit, and one shouldn't cross the line." This time seems like Neha has been deeply hurt for getting mocked. But, it is not Aditya who has done it, but rather two other comedians who have gone a little overboard with making fun of the beautiful singer. We're talking about none other than Kiku Sharda and Gaurav Gera. The two who are known to for their sarcasm and wit, have hit below the belt this time with their jokes in a recent show. It has not only left Neha angry, but has made her brother Tony Kakkar furious.
What happened was Kiku and Gaurav, who were in the skin in their characters, called a short-heighted girl as 'Neha Kankar' and 'Chotu'. To which the girl replies that she is 'Neha Shakkar'. In the show, Neha is shown as a person who constantly clicks selfies, and talks through hashtags. Kiku takes a dig at her by telling her that she is famous and earns money by singing 'kuch bhi'. Here, they are not only mocking her face, but also her singing talent.
Upon seeing this, Neha got tad upset and took to social media to share her disappointment with her fans. She said that she takes comdey sportingly, but has been really very hurt this time by the nasty remarks on her. She lashed out them comedians for stopping so low and using her name for such stupid acts. She added that she wishes to keep negativity away from her life and is thus letting them go. In multiple Instagram stories she also thanked her fans for their support and said that she was heartbroken yesterday but not today.
Even Neha's brother Tony Kakkar slammed the comedians and the makers for passing such distasteful comments on the singer, who has suffered a lot already in her life.
