The popular singing-based reality show Indian Idol is back with its 11th season and is already a hit among the audience. Interestingly, music composer Vishal Dadlani, Anu Malik and singer Neha Kakkar have reprised their role of judges on the show. And while the judges have begun their hunt for the next singing sensation, the popularity of Indian Idol 11 is crossing new limits with each day. Given the buzz it is creating, there are speculations that Vishal, Neha and Anu are charging a bomb for judging the new season of the show.

In fact, as per a report published in India TV, the renowned Bollywood singer is the highest-paid judge on the popular show. The report stated that Neha, who is judging the show for the second consecutive season, is charging a whopping amount of Rs. 5 lakh per episode. Interestingly, the media reports also suggested that the makers were keen to rope in singer Neeti Mohan as a judge of Indian Idol 11. However, they, reportedly, changed their mind later considering Neha Kakkar’s massive popularity among the millennials.

Neha is accompanied by Vishal who has been hosting the show since four seasons (including both the seasons of Indian Idol). Reportedly, he is being paid a massive amount of Rs. 4.5 lakh for an episode. On the other hand, Anu Malik, who has been associated with the show since its inception except for the junior season, has been the lowest-paid judge. He is reportedly getting a pay cheque of Rs. 4 lakh for an episode.

Interestingly, Indian Idol 11 witnessed a slight change this time as host Maniesh Paul was replaced by Aditya Narayan. To note, this is the first time Aditya will be hosting the show and he is also getting a decent amount for the reality show. The singer-turned-actor, who had earlier hosted shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs and Rising Star, is reportedly getting Rs. 2.5 lakh per episode.

While the makers have spent a huge amount on the show, it seems that Indian Idol 11 will surely come up with some good entertainment for the audience.
