According to a latest report, Ekta Kapoor may be on the look out for a new face to play Komolika and bring her back in the show.
Hina Khan as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay garnered unprecedented success and adulation. For anyone who has been watching the show, the actress' style and on screen persona was much talked about and picked up really well becoming a nationwide sensation. If that wasn't enough, there are dolls inspired by Komolika, which is proof enough of its colossal success. But much to the dismay of fans, Hina left the show for brighter endeavours in Bollywood. According to a latest report, Ekta Kapoor may be on the look out for a new face to play Komolika and bring her back in the show.
As per BollywoodLife, sources have revealed that Hina Khan won’t be returning to the show. However, Hina is getting replaced in the daily soap and the hunt for the new Komolika is already on. Despite killing her previous track, it is known that television's czarina would find a way to bring back Komolika and looks like she is doing exactly that.
The source told BL, "The writers are bringing back Komolika who will be joining hands with Mr Bajaj (played by Karan Singh Grover) this time." A number of TV actresses have been suggested for the role."Ekta Kapoor only liked Sanaya Irani, but the actress was not keen to play the character," the source added. Ekta and her team have zeroed down on actress Jasmin Bhasin who was also seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi.
