At the India TV Conclave underway in Mumbai today, Hina opened up about the impact television has on people and the acceptance which she has received from the audiences. Hina said that she started her acting career with the TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and that she was part of the show for quite a long time. She revealed that people often used to ask her to quit the show as, according to them, it will typecast her as a 'bahu'. However, she took it as a challenge and continued to work.
