On Mother's Day, we got in touch with a few celebs to know what does this day mean to them. From Shantanu Maheshwari to Aashka Goradia, actors spoke fondly about their mothers and the one thing advice she gave that changed their lives forever.
Shantanu Maheshwari- It’s because of my mom's determination and persistence that I started dancing and built my career in dance. She just never gave up on me, and would always tell me that someday I would be in front of the camera! And it did come true because it was always her dream that she wanted to see come true!
Mishal Raheja- My mom taught me to be humble. When I got my first show and it was a big hit and it was getting into my head. My mom could see that and she used to tell me that you have to keep it grounded. The bigger you get, the more grounded you have to be. So my spot boys, my helpers, my team from every show they call me every 4-5 months and they ask me how I'm doing because they find me a humble person and all the credit goes to my mother for that.
Aashka Goradia- Best advice she gave me was to let go.., learn to let go, holding on and crunching your thoughts leads you nowhere.
Faisal Khan- The one thing my mother always told me throughout, was to never give up on my dreams. She made sure that I always did what I was most passionate about, and so there was no word like never in my dictionary! If there was ever a thought of giving up on something, her words about chase your dreams always play in my mind!
Not just them, TV celebs also took to Instagram to share pictures with their mother and wish her. From Sanaya Irani, Drashti Dhami to Ridhi Dogra, Surbhi Chandna and others, here's how the small screen actors wished their mothers.
