Gully Boy: Nakuul Mehta calls Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's film a cinematic experience like no other

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy released on Thursday, February 14. The film opened to a lot of positive reviews with critics raving about Ranveer and Alia's stellar act. Even the supporting actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Vijay Raaz are being praised for their performances. The film is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and it is inspired by the lives of rappers Divine and Naezy.

People have been very excited for Gully Boy. One such TV actor who was equally curious to watch the film in the theatre was Nakuul Mehta. Before the release of the film, he has been sharing several Instagram stories in which he used to rap the songs from Gully Boy along with his friends. Yesterday, the actor took to his Twitter page and had tweeted, "What day is it again guys?" #GullyBoy Day."

A few hours later, he shared his review of Gully Boy and Nakuul has only good things to say. He tweeted, "#GullyBoy left me stunned & blown in equal measure. Zoya Akhtar, you are a master craftsman! @RanveerOfficial is still as water & explosive as a tornado at the same time. How epic are Alia, Siddhant & Vijay Maurya. He again took to his Twitter page today as he can't stop thinking about the film. Nakuul shared, "When you can't stop thinking of a film much after leaving the theatres, it goes beyond a mere cinemna experience. #GullyBoy is all that & so much more."

Ranveer Singh plays the role of a guy named Murad who aspires to become a rapper. Alia Bhatt plays the role of Safeena, a medical student and Singh's girlfriend. Both the actor have rocked the screen with their performances and chemistry.

Coming to Nakuul Mehta, he plays the lead role Shivaansh Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaz. The show stars Niti Taylor as the female lead.
