Gold Awards 2018: Jennifer Winget has a mini-reunion with former reel life mom Shweta Tiwari at the red carpet

Gold Awards 2018 was held last night in Mumbai with the who's and who of the Television industry gracing it with their presence. Amongst others, it was Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Jennifer Winget, Hina Khan, Divyanka Tripathi, Harshad Chopda, Shweta Tiwari, Mouni Roy, Surbhi Jyoti, Drashti Dhami dazzling at the red carpet.
However, it was Jennifer's reunion with Shweta Tiwari that really got us smiling. The actor who was posing for the paps met Shweta on the red carpet and the duo couldn't help but embrace each other. The warmth between the duo was so palpable. For those uninitiated, Shweta played the role of Jennifer's mother in Kasautii Zindagi Kii.
In an exclusive interview with us recently, when Jennifer was asked to choose between Prerna Bajaj (Shweta Tiwari) or Tulsi Virani (Smriti Irani), she had promptly said Prerna since she played my mother. What do you think of their mini-reunion? We LOVE it!
Jennifer bagged the Best Actress Award at the Gold Awards last night. Thanking her fans and cast for the constant support, Jennifer took to Instagram and wrote, "Going for Gold this time at the @goldawardstv and this one’s for the entire team at Bepannaah for their collective effort - fantastic writers, an incredible camera crew, the best co-actors and a supporting cast of critics and constants - my family, friends and fans who have more faith in me than I have in myself sometimes. What a reminder to tell you that hard work is truly rewarded and reassurance that atleast, I’m on the right path!"
