Gaurav Chopra on his show Aghori: It is more in the space of a Marvel franchise

Gaurav Chopra is all set to play the lead role in Zee TV's upcoming show called Aghori. It's a supernatural drama but also a love story. In an interview with Indian Express, the actor spoke about his new show in details.
When asked about how he had said recently that he won't be doing regressive shows. Then what makes him justify that Aghori isn't regressive. Gaurav said, "It’s seeming like that but to be honest, the show is more in the space of a Marvel franchise. Thor’s character has superpowers and then he is humanised and sent to earth, where he falls in love with a girl. We don’t question that so why are we putting Aghori in the regressive box?"
The actor added that his show Aghori is on similar lines as Marvel films and they are not showing any black magic or chudail in it. He also stated that the show has intense sequences and his character's inherent personality made him say instantly yes for the show. He didn't think that it is regressive.
Gaurav Chopra added that the romantic sequences in the show are also cute and the viewers will enjoy watching it.
