Farah Khan to return with the second season of Lip Sing Battle.
Farah Khan's Lip Sing Battle saw the who's and who of Bollywood from Shah Rukh Khan to Katrina Kaif grace it. In the show, Farah pitted two celebs opposite each other as they synced lips to the lyrics of popular Bollywood songs.
The season went off air just recently and we already hear that a second season of the popular show is already been planned.
A source revealed to a leading daily, "This show was never about TRPs. Also, it had a late night slot which is not exactly a prime time. Besides, it was already decided that it will be a 16-episode show. So, 16 episodes were shot and aired. Now, a second season is being planned but it is in the initial stages."
The source further revealed that the format of the show might be tweaked for season 2 and will see celebrity couples pitted against each other. "It could be a film couple, either spouses or co-stars fro a movie on one team and they will be pitted against a popular TV jodi. There could also be sports personalities like Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra, who is also a known name. There could be singer jodis, too," the source added.
If the report has to be believed, the second season is likely to air in the second quarter of 2018.
