Sony TV will soon see Kaun Banega Crorepati return with its eleventh season. The show will go on air mid-August and while we are all very ecstatic about it, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai and Patiala Babes fans are upset with their respective shows going off-air. However, we have some good news for the fans. While the channel has decided to pull the plug on the first season, season 2 with the makers is already being planned.
A source close to the development informs, "The channel is very much aware of the popularity both the shows enjoy and has already informed the makers on launching a second season to the show after a small sabbatical. Right now, the channel is focusing on promoting the new line up of shows and of course, KBC which has been the channel's USP for the longest time. After that, both the shows might return with a second season by year-end or early next year. While any discussion on the cast for the show is pre-mature, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai might return with the original lead. However, right now, the show will be going off-air to make way for newer shows."
Meanwhile, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai stars Randeep Rai and Ashi Singh in lead roles, while Patiala Babes stars Paridhi Sharma and Ashnoor Kaur in pivotal roles. Does this piece of news make you happy? Let us know in the comments section below.
