Aly Goni is one of the hottest stars on Indian Television. His smile and persona simply attracts fans, making him one of the most popular stars. He has won hearts with his stint as Romi on Star Plus' show Ye Hai Mohabbatein. He gained popularity through the show.
There are reports that the actor would soon join the Rohit Shetty-hosted show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. We got in touch with Aly to recify the reports. He told us, "I don't know from where all these reports are coming. Yes, we are in talk but nothing has been confirmed yet. The production house will give the confirmation on that."
Last year, there came the news that when the actor was in Indonesia to shoot for a show, there was a group of girls who wanted to meet him but the security did not allow them. Hence in the process, four of the girls fainted crying and one girl literally slit her hand. She was rushed to the hospital. The moment Aly was informed about it, he made sure he pays her a visit and spent some time with the group of girls till they felt better.
Aly, who was quite shocked by this incident, said "The entire experience was scary. I knew there was a lot of love towards me in the city but did not think such things would happen. I am just glad that i was informed on time and I could go visit them."
In 2015, Ali was in news when he was not given any house on rent as he is a Kashmiri Muslim. He had earlier said, "I am sure every house has a TV and people watch us for entertainment. So why is it so difficult for an actor to rent a flat in Mumbai? Is it a crime to be born in Kashmir? We have the same documents, have the same passport, same voter card and same pan card. Then why do we have to face this discrimination? Not letting someone rent a house anywhere in the country is undemocratic. I am heartbroken that I am looked down upon as a threat to the society just because I am a Kashmiri Muslim."
