EXCLUSIVE: Vishal Malhotra on his camaraderie with Barun Sobti: We shared a super easy chemistry

Remember that guy from Ishq Vishk? The guy who gave us all best friend goals? Vishal Malhotra is the name and his characters throughout have given us major bestie goals to live up to. 

Vishal Malhotra first got introduced to the limelight with his character of Mambo in his debut film Ishq Vishk. Vishal seems to be an all-rounder as he has been a part of 18 shows out of which he has hosted 5 of them. Apart from that he has also been an active part of films and has played significant characters in each of them. 

Vishal Malhotra is a brilliant performer and was not seen on screen for quite some time, but the actor at the moment is all set for his upcoming release Tu Hai Mera Sunday. We got in touch with Vishal for an exclusive interview where he spoke about the film, his experience and also his co-stars.

1) how was your experience working in the film?

Milind (Dhaimade) the director is from the advertising film world and this is his 1st film. So everything was extremely organized and timed to the last minute. Unlike a lot of other projects, I've been involved with.

2) what about the script made you want to do the film?

The biggest thing that attracted me to this film and character was the fact that I DID NOT identify AT ALL with the character. I'm in the pursuit to break a type cast and this was the best opportunity

3) Your camaraderie with co-star Barun Sobti?

We shared a Super easy chemistry

4) Your best memory from the sets of Tu Hai Mera Sunday

The best memories were actually made while we prepped for the film. Every morning at 6 AM we would train for football at Juhu beach for a month.

Vishal Malhotra will be seen alongside Barun Sobti, Shahana Goswami, Rasika Duggal and others in Tu Hai Mera Sunday. The film is slated to release on October 6, 2017.
